I am a stats addict.
Because I have goals to make Medium a thousand-dollar income stream, I am going all in to study what articles that fly and interest the reader-members.
This morning, I was surprised to see my number of following. I was expecting a 2,600 count soon — but it eventually dropped to 2,300.
I double-checked the app and the desktop view to check whether it was merely a glitch in either option. But the results were consistent — I wonder what happened.
I would recall a clean-up made by this platform several months (or a year) ago. There were many dummy accounts decommissioned — and I hope they will get removed too.
There are accounts I see responding to my articles.
Some Elon Musk account commenting on my post, inviting me to invest money in their product — and based on my checking as of this writing, he got removed already.
Robots previously infested Medium — and it looks like they are now increasing in number — so it is time to remove them here because they are messing up the platform and bloating up the numbers.
