It is no secret that men often stop pursuing their wives after marriage.

And it is a summary of true stories of men brought up in several couples’ gatherings.

But why is this?

Is it a lack of love or something more profound?

Here are some reasons why men don’t pursue women after marriage and how couples can spice things up in their relationships.

There are many potential reasons why men no longer pursue their wives after marriage.

It could include feeling too comfortable with the relationship, fear of rejection, or the belief that they are no longer needed to prove their worth in the relationship.

Whatever the reason, it is clear that this kind of situation can cause problems in relationships if left unchecked.

My wife told me, before our marriage, that we would talk over the phone for hours every night as if there were no tomorrow.

And now she needs to request from me, she says, because I no longer have time to sit down with her and nourish conversations.

It might be because men think they “got her,” so there is no need to continue pursuing her and trying to show her how much she means to them.

And for me, I learned the lesson the hard way, and it is a mistake!

A woman must be shown love and appreciation consistently, even after marriage.

She wants to feel special and loved every day.

And for her man to make an effort to show his affection and admiration for her.

The key here is consistency — showing your wife you love her should never become routine or taken for granted.

Men stopping pursuing women after marriage could have something to do with changing expectations in relationships today compared with past generations.

Some of us used to have a very different attitude toward marriage

It was more about being “the provider” than anything else
